Alain Delon and Romy Schneider 60s couple photos-pictures
They met on the set of "Christine" (1958), felt in love and she moved with him to Paris.Schneider became engaged to Delon in 1959. They never got married though, they were always delaying it. Delon broke up with her in 1964, breaking her heart(some say).
They continued starring in films together, like La Piscine (The Swimming Pool) (1968).they were engaged once, which made perfect sense cause they seemed so confortable with each other in the movie, and they had such intimacy...that could not be only acting.
They remained lifelong friends.
In January 1981, Alain Delon and Romy Schneider were named "the actors preferred by the public" in a French magazine.
