his father, Kris Hager of Sarasota, FL, and his step-brother,
Ensign Aaron Jozsef, USCG serving in Miami, FL. SSG Hager was

He graduated from Colorado High School of Denver, a charter school,
in 1995. SSG Hager enlisted in the Army in 1998 and received numerous

SSG Hager completed jump school and joined the 82nd Airborne.
He was "fast-tracked" for promotion and served with distinction in Korea.
Returning to the states, he completed Army Ranger training and eventually

As SSG Hager would say, and as all Rangers would say, "Then I heard the
voice of the Lord saying, 'Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?'
And I said, "Here I am. Send me!" Rangers Lead The Way.
