And, When her beloved Elsie, Madonna referred to as her ‘mother’, passed away recently the singer was inconsolable and not even her own family could seem to snap her out of the doldrums. A source said: “Madonna was devastated when Elsie passed away as she helped bring her up when her own mother died.”

We got these pictures of Jamie yesterday, lunching in Malibu with Jeff Fuller — the new guy in her life. Now, in the awkward department, until recently Jeff was the Director of Protocol for the Dodgers.

Jamie is reported to be meeting with L.A.’s well-monied elite in a bid to raise the cash to buy out Frank as sole owner of the Dodgers. Mr. Fuller just so happens to be an heir to the Pillsbury fortune, so perhaps mixing business with pleasure?

As I’ve reported before, Jamie in the past has looked into running for public office in SoCal, so her donor connections may give her a head start on Frank in drumming up the necessary capital to take over the team.

Frank of course “fired” her last week as CEO of the club, but that move is meaningless. The judge, not Frank or MLB, will decide who gets the Dodgers as part of the future divorce settlement.

And what’s the odds Fuller ends up back with the Dodgers if Jamie gets the team? Like any chief executive, Jamie will need someone close by to help her blow off steam.

Katie also now finds herself questioning her almost four-year marriage to Peter was heavily media-influenced.
She added to UK daytime TV show 'This Morning': "I think, 'Oh my god was it really a relationship?' It was all cameras and photo shoots. It's wrong to have a relationship based on that."

Katie Price watched the Gold Cup from the Royal Box at Cheltenham Festival yesterday - and celebrated with new boyfriend Leandro Penna after the horse she'd backed won the race.

The 32-year-old model and businesswoman also known as Jordan had placed a bet on favourite Long Run and punched the air as it raced home first past the post - then high-fived her new 25-year-old love.

Katie was apparently a guest of course chairman Lord Vestey at the four-day meet and course managing director Edward Gillespie told The Mirror: 'It's her first visit and she's been great.'

But mother-of-three Katie had earlier struggled with what she should wear to the event, writing on Twitter: 'I'm wearing boring black in killer pink heels. I haven't prepared for this day out to the races x.'

Katie has been using Twitter to keep fans updated on her blossoming relationship with Leandro.

Earlier this week, she uploaded a series of romantic photos of the pair, along with the caption: 'Es todo un tierno. Lo amo,' which translates roughly to 'It's all tender. I love him.'

It had been claimed this morning that Katie and Leandro, 25, were set to marry after the glamour model 'begged' her new boyfriend to propose to her.

But Katie was quick to deny the reports, tweeting this morning: 'Another made up bulls*** story where do these people get there c**p from?'

The love-struck I’m A Celeb winner has invited painter and decorator Adam ­Waldron to move in as soon as possible.
He’ll make the change from Warrington, Cheshire, to Surrey as soon as he has more business in the area.
A friend said: “Adam’s been staying in Surrey as much as he can.
"But a permanent move won’t happen until he knows he can earn enough money. He’s not the type to rely on someone’s ­income.”
Ex-Atomic Kitten Kerry, 29, met Adam at a friend’s party after ­splitting with husband Mark Croft, 39, earlier this year.
Croft later ­admitted squandering millions of her ­money before she was declared ­bankrupt.
But he is now planning to use Channel 4 ­documentary Kerry And Me, which aired on Thursday, to convince a court Kerry is a bad ­mother to their children Heidi, three, and Max, two.
The film – shot in February – shows Kerry crying, chain-smoking, slurring her words and, at one point, yelling at the children.
She has told friends watching the documentary was like, ­“watching a stranger in trouble”.
One said: “She said, ‘That’s the old me. It’s like watching a stranger.”

The loved-up couple visited a Dulux painting specialist before heading to a golf course to enjoy some sports in the hot weather.

Kerry, 29, has been dating Adam for the past six weeks and, being her first boyfriend since she launched her new clean image, she seems keen for this relationship to work.

The painter and decorator, 33, has even been asked by the former Atomic Kitten singer to move in with her but he has told friends he doesn’t want to leave Warrington as that’s where his work is based.

A source told Closer magazine that Kerry only wants her new man to accept ‘posh jobs’ to prevent him being seen as a ‘white-van-driving manual labourer.’
