She might play a high-class prostitute in her day job as Belle de Jour - but Billie Piper looked every inch the loving mother and loved-up wife as she enjoys the Los Angeles weather with husband Laurence Fox and son two-year-old Winston.

The happy family are currently on holiday in California and were spotted catching some sun on trendy Venice Beach yesterday. 

Billie, 28, was seen getting in some coffees for herself and her actor husband before they snuggled together in the cool ocean breeze.

Wearing a baggy bright red jumper, cut-off denim shorts, leopard print loafers and fashionable large cream-framed sunglasses, Billie looked relaxed and happy as she and her husband watched their son play on the grass.

Actor/director John Asher, who was married to McCarthy from 1999 to 2005, thinks his ex-wife’s current boyfriend, Jim Carrey, is having a great time in the bedroom because Jenny really knows how to keep things interesting in bed.

Asher said Jenny McCarthy liked threesomes and once even invited three other “naughty sweet young girls” to join them for sex in a recent ConwayAndWhitman.com interview.

He said, “She’d be the subject of most of the attention, but always kept me in the mix. Jenny was a freak in the sack and beyond. There are some things that she’s done where I’ve thought, ‘No other woman will ever do that.’ It’s a helluva show.”

Asher reveals his marriage ended when the couple’s son Evan was diagnosed with autism and needed Jenny’s full-time attention. John Asher stated, “When something traumatic happens to a child, it either pulls the parents together or drives them apart.”

 Rod Stewart has become a father for the eighth time after Penny Lancaster gave birth to their son Aiden.

The rock star, 66, and his wife said they were ‘proud and thrilled’ to announce the ‘long awaited arrival’ of their second child – a brother to their five-year-old son Alastair.

The couple told how they went through three rounds of IVF before Miss Lancaster, 39, finally became pregnant. The gruelling fertility treatment had sent them on an ‘emotional rollercoaster’, they said.

Miss Lancaster revealed that she was expecting last August, saying: ‘I couldn’t believe it. I burst into tears. I called Rod when I was still sobbing.’

‘Rod said, “I’m in the middle of a restaurant in Russia, crying.” I kept pinching myself.’ A spokesman for the pair said Aiden was born on Wednesday weighing 7lb 12oz. ‘Mother and baby are healthy and blissfully happy,’ he said.
