Nowhere in that definition does it say lack of danger or pain. Or the absence of danger or pain.
It says 'not deterred'. Meaning that danger, pain and fear will be present still, but to be
courageous, is to except those things and to continue forward.

Most of what we fear and the problems we want to avoid,
can be far larger and scarier in our minds imagination that they truly are.

Face them, standing tall, and you will find you are much stronger and bigger than they are.
